John Howard Matthews is author of the short story collection, This is Where it Gets Interesting.
His stories have appeared in anthologies and several literary and humor magazines, including McSweeney's, The Chicago Reader, Write City Magazine, Wisconsin Review and Points in Case.
His story, "Mercurochrome" was a finalist in the Zoetrope All-Story Contest (2008).
John lives near Chicago with his wife and their four-year-old robot vacuum.
